    How the configurator works

The 3D viewer above is the actual ADDAX Basecamp V3 — a 6 ft x 6 ft off-road overland trailer on a 3/16-inch steel chassis with a 14-gauge steel body, 17 inches of ground clearance and 29-inch all-terrain tires. Rotate it, pick a paint color, then layer on the packages to see how the build changes.

Nothing you select is a commitment. When the build looks right, send it to a dealer and it becomes the starting point of a quote. ADDAX doesn't publish list pricing because it depends on your configuration and your dealer, so the configurator's job is to settle the spec, not the price.

Every trailer starts from the same standard equipment: a pre-installed hard-shell rooftop tent and 270° awning, a 7-foot pull-out galley with a 53 L electric refrigerator, a 22-gallon fresh water tank with an electric pump, and a 100 Ah lithium battery running 220 W of solar input into a 1500 W inverter with four 110 V outlets. The packages below add to that; they don't replace it.

    Choosing your build

    1. 1. Start with where you campCold, wet or high-altitude camping points at All Season. Remote, rough terrain points at All Terrain. Long stays with family point at All Comfort.
    2. 2. Check your tow vehicleThe Basecamp V3 is 1,800 lb dry and about 2,000 lb wet, with a 1,450 lb payload on a 3,500 lb axle. It tows behind most Wranglers, Gladiators, mid-size and full-size trucks and body-on-frame SUVs. You'll need a 7-pin connector and a brake controller for the electromagnetic drum brakes.
    3. 3. Pick a colorPaint is the one choice that can't be added later, so it's worth deciding before you submit the build. Everything else is dealer-installable after delivery.
    4. 4. Send it to a dealerYour configuration goes to an authorized ADDAX dealer, who confirms availability, prices the build and works through financing. Find your closest dealer.

    Configurator FAQs

Does building a configuration place an order?
No. Submitting a build sends your spec to an authorized ADDAX dealer as the starting point for a quote. Nothing is committed until you order through that dealer.
Why isn't there a price in the configurator?
ADDAX sells through dealers, and pricing depends on your build and your dealer. The configurator settles the specification; the dealer settles the price and financing.
Can I add a package after I take delivery?
Yes. All Season, All Terrain and All Comfort are dealer-installable, so you can start with the base Basecamp V3 and add packages later. Paint is the one choice worth making up front.
Can I combine all three packages?
Yes. The packages are independent and stack in any combination.
Will the 3D viewer work on my phone?
The viewer runs in any modern mobile or desktop browser with WebGL. Every option it contains is also listed in text on this page, so you can read the full catalog without loading the 3D model.
