How buying an ADDAX works
Every ADDAX Basecamp V3 is built in Lindon, Utah and delivered through an authorized dealer. The dealer is the part of the process that matters most after the build: they hand over the trailer, set up your hitch and brake controller, and are the people you call when something needs attention.
1. Build your configuration
Use the online customizer to pick your Basecamp V3 setup and add-on packages. You'll end up with a spec list you can hand straight to a dealer.
2. Contact the dealer
Call or visit the dealer nearest you. They confirm what's on the lot, what's orderable and what a demo unit looks like in person.
3. Quote and financing
The dealer prices your configuration and works through financing options with you. ADDAX does not publish list pricing because it varies by build and dealer.
4. Delivery and walkthrough
You take delivery at the dealer, who walks you through the electrical panel, water system, kitchen slide, rooftop tent and hitch before you tow away.
5. Service and warranty
Your dealer is also your service point. Warranty claims are filed through the ADDAX warranty form and handled with the dealer.
What to ask your dealer
An overland trailer is a towing decision as much as a camping one. The Basecamp V3 runs 1,800 lb dry and about 2,000 lb wet, on a 3,500 lb axle with electromagnetic drum brakes, 17 inches of ground clearance and 29-inch all-terrain tires. Bring your tow vehicle's rating to the conversation and work backwards from there.
- —Do you have a Basecamp V3 on the lot I can walk through today?
- —Which add-on packages — All Season, All Terrain, All Comfort — do you stock or order most often?
- —Will my tow vehicle handle a 2,000 lb wet trailer with a 7-pin connector and brake controller?
- —Do you install a brake controller if my vehicle doesn't have one?
- —How do you handle warranty service, and do you do the work in-house?
- —What lenders do you work with for trailer financing?
