    Financing an ADDAX Basecamp

Most ADDAX Basecamp buyers finance through a lender rather than paying cash, and the process runs through the dealer you buy from. Terms, rates and eligibility are set by the lender, not by ADDAX, so this page explains the mechanics rather than quoting numbers we cannot guarantee.

If you want current rates and terms for your situation, your authorized dealer is the right place to ask — they work with the lending partners day to day.

    How the process works

    • Configure your Basecamp V3 and the packages you want, so the amount financed reflects the real build
    • Request a quote, or contact an authorized dealer near you
    • The dealer submits your application to their lending partners
    • The lender reviews credit, income and the loan-to-value on the trailer
    • On approval you review the offer — amount, rate, term and any down payment — and sign
    • The trailer is built or allocated, and delivery is arranged through the dealer or the factory

    What lenders look at

Recreational trailer lending is closer to auto lending than to a mortgage. Lenders weigh your credit history and score, your debt-to-income ratio, how much you put down, and the term you request.

Because the trailer secures the loan, the lender also considers its value and age. New units from an established manufacturer with a dealer network are the straightforward case.

    Documents worth having ready

    • Government-issued photo ID
    • Proof of income — recent pay stubs, or tax returns if you are self-employed
    • Proof of residence
    • The signed quote or purchase agreement showing the configured build and total price
    • Insurance information, since lenders generally require coverage before delivery

How trailer loans differ from auto loans

Terms on recreational trailers are often longer than a typical auto loan, which lowers the monthly payment and raises total interest paid. Down payment expectations are usually higher than on a car.

Rates depend on credit tier, term and the lender's own pricing at the time. Treat any rate you see quoted online — including on manufacturer sites — as illustrative until a lender puts an offer in writing.

    Practical advice before you apply

    • Decide your monthly budget before you configure, not after — packages change the financed amount
    • Compare total cost over the term, not just the monthly payment
    • Ask whether there is a prepayment penalty
    • Check whether the rate is fixed for the whole term
    • Budget for insurance, registration and any state title fees on top of the loan
    • If you plan to add a tow-vehicle upgrade, factor it in now rather than after signing

    Frequently asked questions

    Does ADDAX finance trailers directly?
No. Financing is arranged through lending partners via your authorized dealer, or discussed with us directly if you are buying from the factory. Terms and approval are set by the lender.
What credit score do I need?
There is no single threshold — it varies by lender, term, down payment and the amount financed. Your dealer can submit to more than one lender to find a fit.
How long are trailer loan terms?
Recreational trailer terms are commonly longer than auto loans, which lowers the payment and increases total interest. Ask your lender to show both figures.
    Is a down payment required?
Usually yes, and expectations are typically higher than on a car loan. The exact requirement depends on the lender and your credit profile.
Can I finance packages and accessories?
Generally the financed amount reflects the configured build on your purchase agreement, so options selected before signing are included. Confirm with your dealer before finalizing.
Do I need insurance before delivery?
Lenders normally require proof of coverage before releasing the unit. Arrange it while your application is in process so delivery is not delayed.
