Who the All Terrain Package is for

The All Terrain Package is for owners who treat the trailhead as the starting line. The Basecamp V3 already runs 17 inches of ground clearance, 29-inch all-terrain tires on torsion axles and a 3/16-inch steel chassis — this package adds the articulation, recovery and range hardware that keeps you moving when the terrain stops being a road.

It's the most common first add-on for Jeep, Gladiator, Land Cruiser and mid-size truck owners who already know where they're going and just need the trailer to follow.

    What each part does

    Articulating off-road hitch
A Cruiser Outfitters articulating coupler that lets the trailer pitch, roll and yaw independently of the tow vehicle. On off-camber ledges and deep ruts, this is the difference between following your rig and fighting it.
    Full-size spare on a swing-out mount
A matching 29-inch spare on a heavy-duty swing-arm mount, so a flat a long way from pavement is an inconvenience rather than the end of the trip. The swing-out keeps rear access clear.
    Stackable RotoPax fuel cans
Two 1-gallon stackable, sealed fuel cans on locking mounts — extend your range without crowding the kitchen.
    Electric air compressor
Airing down for sand, snow and rock is standard practice off-road; the compressor is how you air back up before hitting pavement. It runs off the trailer's 12 V system.
    Ratchet straps
Four heavy-duty straps for securing gear to the exterior MOLLE panels and the 26 in x 40 in removable front deck.

With All Terrain fitted, the Basecamp V3 is set up for remote travel: it articulates over obstacles instead of binding, it carries its own recovery and reinflation gear, and it extends your fuel range without eating storage space.

    All Terrain Package FAQs

What does an articulating hitch actually do?
It adds a rotational axis so the trailer can roll and pitch independently of the tow vehicle. On severe off-camber terrain a standard ball coupler binds and can lift a wheel; an articulating coupler lets both vehicles follow the ground.
Does the trailer come with a spare without this package?
The full-size spare on the heavy-duty swing-out mount is part of the All Terrain Package.
Can the compressor air up my tow vehicle's tires too?
Yes — it's a standalone 12 V compressor, not plumbed exclusively to the trailer.
Does the articulating hitch change what I need on my tow vehicle?
You still tow through your vehicle's receiver and 7-pin connector, and you still need a brake controller for the trailer's electromagnetic drum brakes. Ask your dealer to confirm coupler fitment.
