What The Hudson Weekly covered
The Hudson Weekly picked up the news that ADDAX Overland closed a $2.5 million investment aimed at widening the product range. Money is only interesting for what it turns into, and in our case that's steel, tooling, and more ways to get people off pavement.
Their coverage frames the raise around growth: expanding beyond a single flagship trailer into a broader lineup of overlanding gear and packages. Fair read. We started with one rig built to survive the trips our own crew takes, and the demand from owners kept pointing at the same request — more options, more configurations, more of the same toughness applied to different problems.
Capital lets us build heavier and test longer instead of shaving grams and hoping. It funds the fixtures, the fatigue testing, and the parts nobody notices until they fail on somebody else's trailer.
The result of that investment is what you see on the Basecamp today. Go build one and see where the money went.
