What Stellantis / GlobeNewswire covered
This is where the whole story begins — Jeep announcing an overlanding trailer co-launch with ADDAX Overland, straight out of the corporate newsroom.
The word they used was unprecedented, and for once the corporate language was earned. Jeep had never put its name on a camping trailer like this. For a company our size, it meant surviving an engineering and brand review that assumes nothing and checks everything, then building to that standard at volume.
What we took away from it wasn't the logo. It was the discipline. Documented tolerances, tested loads, and a build process that has to produce the same trailer the hundredth time as the first. That rigor stuck, and it shows up in every rig that leaves the shop in Lindon.
Four years and several generations later, the current version is easily the best one we've made. Go build your Basecamp, pick your packages, and see what that discipline turned into.
