What Uncrate covered
Uncrate doesn't write essays. They put a thing in front of a few million people who buy gear and let it stand on its own. The Jeep x ADDAX Gladiator camper got that treatment.
There's a certain honesty to that format. No 2,000 words of context to hide behind — either the build reads as legit in a couple of photos and a paragraph, or it doesn't. The camper's whole pitch is visible at a glance: locked modular storage in the bed, sleeping platform up top, built to Jeep's standards, meant for country where the road quits being a road.
We'd rather earn that reaction with hardware than with copywriting. Squared-off, blacked-out, overbuilt on purpose, and priced like something you keep.
